Beyond the Blues Education and Screening Day is an annual mental health awareness campaign coordinated by Canadian Mental Health Association British Columbia (CMHABC), and the Centre for Addictions Research of BC.

Held across British Columbia, Beyond the Blues events are free, anonymous and drop-in, and invite people to learn about mood and anxiety problems, effective treatments, supports and self-care in interactive, safe ways, highlighting when and how to get help from local support.

Attendees can fill out short self-tests on well-being, depression, anxiety and risky drinking, have a private de-brief with a clinician and find out more about local resources and supports. The focus of these events is about education, not diagnosis.

Beyond the Blues is held annually throughout October and November.
