Mindcheck is a website for youth and young adults (age 13 and above) to understand their mental health, look up information on common mental-health-related topics, and learn about steps for improving their well-being. While the information is relevant everywhere, this site is designed with youth and young adults in British Columbia in mind, with a section that allows them to connect to local mental health resources and support.

Topics covered include anxiety, social anxiety, depression, stress, alcohol and drug use, body image and eating. Additionally, a section entitled “Reality Check” explains what psychosis is, and provides a screening tool, a list of symptoms, and resources for support. There are also sections on this website providing information for families or friends of youth living with mental health challenges.
