This webpage on the Education and Psychology (pre-k to 12) section of the American Psychological Association website provides comprehensive and engaging information and videos on building positive teacher-student relationships. Examples (video and written) of what positive, and negative teacher-student relationship look like are provided, as well as tips for cultivating positive relationships, and dealing with difficult students in the classroom. Additional information is provided on classroom climate and its links to teacher-student relationships, measures of teacher-student relationships, student and teacher stressors.
