The CASEL Guide to Schoolwide Social and Emotional Learning was developed by the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) to provide an evidence-based roadmap and resources to help schools organize, implement and improve their efforts at SEL implementation.

The guide is structured around three key steps for SEL implementation- Organize (building ownership and creating a plan), Implement (strengthening adult SEL and promoting student SEL), and Improve (practicing continuous improvement). A curated set of suggested tools and resources are provided for each focus area. A rubric and surveys are provided to assess current levels of implementation.
