The Results First Clearinghouse Database was created as a one-stop online resource to help policymakers identify evidence-based programs. The Database includes information from eight U.S.-based clearinghouses that systematically review research studies that assess the effectiveness of programs and interventions. These clearinghouses include organizations such as Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development, U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices, and the U.S. Department of Education’s What Works Clearinghouse. The Results First Clearinghouse Database reconciled the different systems, vocabularies, and data from these eight clearinghouses to provide a clear and accessible format for users. The database is searchable by keyword, policy area, intervention type, clearinghouse, and rating.
