The Mindfulness in Education Network (MIEN) was established in 2001 by a group of educators and students of Zen Master and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh, with a mission to cultivate the practice of mindfulness in educational settings. The network facilitates connections and communication among educators, researchers, parents and students, and provides a platform for the exchange of research and ideas for integrating mindfulness in schools and related settings.
