Inspiring Acts of Kindness

The Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) website is a treasury of resources for inspiring and empowering children and adults to do acts of kindness in their communities. Several resources including research articles, news stories, videos, and book lists, are available to learn about kindness . Furthermore, under their “For Educators” tab, free games, instructional activities, books, tools, and even lesson plans from their flagship program, Kindness in the Classroom , are available in order to teach kindness. These resources revolve around 12 “kindness concepts” defined by RAK: Assertiveness, Caring, Compassion, Fairness, Gratitude, Integrity, Helpfulness and Perseverance.
