An App for Learning about the Experiences of Refugees

Developed by the United Nations Refugee Agency, My Life as a Refugee is a game for IPhone and Android devices that serves as an educational tool about the experiences of refugees. Based on the real life experiences of millions of refugees across the world, this app prompts users to make difficult decisions on either choosing to stay in high conflict areas, or attempting to flee to safety. Users can select from one of three main characters, and make choices along the way in an attempt to stay safe and reunite with their families, with each decision leading to another set of choices. The My Life as Refugee app provides a glimpse into the experiences and daily life of refugees trying to escape war and reach safety.
