The Parent Toolkit is a website produced by NBC News Education Nation in the US, and supported by Pearson publishing to provide parents with a comprehensive, online guide to help their children thrive. The Social and Emotional Development section of this toolkit offers up-to-date information on SEL organized using the CASEL framework, and includes practical advice on how to promote SEL within the parenting context (e.g., during meal times, after school, in transitioning into school age, out of high school, etc.). Resources are written by a panel of researchers, educational consultants and educators.

This website is attractively designed and easy to browse and read, and provides useful information and strategies for parents of children from preschool through to high school and beyond. This could be a useful resource teachers can refer parents to, to support them in reinforcing SEL concepts at home.
