Free guided mindfulness sessions for children: The Mind Yeti
By [posts-author-link] on [date]
The Mind Yeti website, developed by the Committee for Children, offers free guided audio sessions to help kids calm down, focus their attention and connect better with themselves and others. A friendly yeti and “hubbubbles” (cute, fish-like creatures) accompany children’s journey into cultivating mindfulness and calming the “Hubbub”. This online mindfulness tool was developed in consultation with experts in mindfulness research. Some themes explored within the brief mindfulness sessions are focus, kindness and gratitude, to name a few. An app is also available to download.
