what-to-do

The What to Do When … book series, written by Dawn Huebner, provides children and their parents with easy-to-read information and activities to overcome their problems. Based on cognitive-behavioral techniques, the books include metaphors and illustrations that offer new perspectives on life’s hurdles, and drawing and writing activities that foster skills for getting over those hurdles. The author offers step-by-step instructions that empower children (and their families) to work towards change. Each book begins with an introduction for Parents and Caregivers on how to use the book. Suitable for children ages 6-12.
